I have been wanting to start a craft blog for a long time. So long, it makes me wonder why it has taken this long to get started.
I guess, because I am worried that it will be bad. That mine will be another in the mass of sad, boring craft blogs, derivative rather than inspirational.
I don't want that.
I want to have a voice in this community. I want to make a contribution to the wealth of skills and knowledge that has accumulated online. I want to pay it forward, not only the material benefits I have sourced from this community, but the comfort and healing I have found also.
To that end I promise not to show you everything I ever create. That would be boring. What I can promise is that I will use this medium, a blog, as an incentive to produce original content. I reckon we can all benefit.
But, before I get there, this blog is going to look pretty ugly while I sort it all out. I'm just going to have to deal.
